Rob and Susie Newbanks – Owners

Rob first learned of his interest in photography as far back as kindergarten while watching his dad print black and white pictures in the basement of their home. By the time he was in Junior High he had his own darkroom and would go out to take pictures just for the pleasure of being able to return to the darkroom for an afternoon of processing and printing. Following his passion into High School he took the opportunity to take half day vocational training in Photography, which later led to a college degree in Photographic Technology. While in college Rob worked in a retail camera store, and CPI Photo Finishing during the mini-lab boom. After graduation he went to work for a large pro lab in Kansas City as Quality Control Manager. It was there where he not only gained his expert knowledge of photographic processing but also was introduced to his wife Susie.

Susie also has the same passion for the industry and together they made quite the combination. Susie is the most knowledgeable production person that one could work with. She has a strong eye for detail, speed, quality and care for customers day in and day out.

After being married and working at the Pro lab in Kansas City for 10 years Rob and Susie were ready for the next step of owning and operating their own lab. They moved to Raleigh NC, to start what is now NC Tricolor imaging. These two experts of their field are not only the owners but continue to participate in all aspects of day to day operation. Together they feel blessed to work for so many excellent Professional Photographers, and want to take this time to thank you for your continued trust.

Jackie Dalton – Marketing and Sales Director

Jackie has been studying and practicing photography for over 15 years. She has shot for celebrities and her work has been published in the Santa Barbara magazine. Her love of photography brought her to the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Professional Photography.

Jackie has a background in Project Management, Technical and Customer Support, as well as Graphic & Web Design. Her appreciation and admiration of other photographers is what brought her to NC TriColor as the Marketing & Sales Director, please feel free to contact her if you have any questions about our products and software.

Ginny Thompson - Customer Service

Ginny came to North Carolina in 1998, where her love for photography brought her to NC TriColor.  She studied photography at Brevard Community College, where she also worked as a lab tech and fell in love with working in the darkroom.

Since coming to NC TriColor, Ginny has worked in many different areas within the lab, from Quality Control to Color Correcting, Canvas Mounting, Art and managing the film development of the lab.  Ginny is now head of Customer Support and is ready to answer your questions!
